I will say this, it's people like Lady Evol why talks over politics get nasty. She spews her hate and riles people up. Don't give me that bullshit the Republicans are racist. By doing that you by association are calling me, my family members and friends who are conservatives and follow the Republican party racists and I take that as an insult. That's how I take it, you can call me over sensitive or what not, I don't care that's how I view this.

The one spewing hate is the one being unpleasant and attacking a member of the site. As far as political discussions getting ugly- you don't get to call someone "hate filled" because you don't have a single fact or citation to back your position. So you rant. Waaah. Don't get into political discussions if you don't have any political knowledge. People like YOU are why it gets ugly. I love debating and researching and trading knowledge. I don't ever take offense to someone posting a well thought out response to something I say, especially when they have sources that I can check out to learn more. I don't enjoy hearing "you disagree so you are spewing hate!"
And yes, when a party takes the same political views as the nazis it 's appropriate to call the leader Hitler. Definitely more appropriate than when you're calling the leader of a party the polar opposite of the nazi party Hitler. See, that one doesn't make sense.
Meanwhile it cracks me up that I say "that party is made up of greedy, self absorbed, stupid, sheltered, hypocritical, racist douchbags" and you say, "hey! It's not true- we're not racist!"

Jill Stein, my friend. Nothing fun comes from libertarians, but the Green Party makes it worth throwing away your vote! How many times was she arrested last election??
But seriously- my disagreement with the ideals of the libertarian party aside, no 3rd party will be elected. If they ever are, they will function exactly the same as the major 2. Because they are buyable and controllable so they become electable. If they aren't buyable or controllable, they don't have a snowball's chance in hell.
