I think the "Wasteland" movie has been done too many times. Perhaps if they focused on the Brotherhood of Steel and made it a quasi military vs mutant action movie. Alternatively one with a Vault horror setting could be intriguing. Some of them have "Saw" esque back stories. A fallout tv show similar to TWD would be sweetest of all though.

I don't think a Fallout movie would work for all the reasons stated above. It would just end up feeling like it was trying to ape those movies while throwing in the Fallout name.
I can totally see a Fallout movie being made if it had enough support.
If games like Tomb Raider, Doom, Max Pain, Bloodrayne, Mortal Kombat and many others got a movie, why can't Fallout. Granted all the movies listed above kinda sucked. >_<

I'm always iffy with movies based off of games or books because in my opinion, they can never quite get it right. But then again, I'm also extremely picky with movies.
It could work as a movie. Fallout would work way better as a movie than Skyrim.
