I don't think Fallout needs multiplayer unless it's an MMO. I don't think that Fallout would benefit from it. Especially if they had modes. No Death match, no capture the flag, no survival mode. Those are things for FPS games and not RPGs. In my opinion, not everything needs multiplayer.

Once The Elder Scrolls MMO explodes with popularity, the idea of a Fallout MMO will be much more apparent to Bethesda I'm sure.
Even if it only released on PC, I'd buy it day one.

Yeah I do hope usable resources like development docs and concept art weren't wasted/destroyed.
I would love an MMO-style Fallout with a focus on large group PvE and small group PvP or like server vs server with certain factions being dominant on certain servers.

Fallout MMO makes a lot of sense. The games have always been about factions and choice. Something similar to a FPS Guild Wars would be just the ticket.
