Where was this dog while I was scavenging the wastes for over 80 hours!?
I feel like I need to load up New Vegas and scurry the lands until I find him or I will never be at peace.
Anyone know?

This is a mod for the PC version. Adds a corgi as a companion.
Figures it would be a mod. He's just too damn cute!
Steam has the GOTY edition for $20, I'll probably buy it just so I can roam the wastes with this awesome dog.
Thank you

No problem. $20 is a steal, well worth the price.
I thought the same thing.
How exactly do you apply a mod to the game and does it cost extra.
Sorry I'm very console smart but PC slow.

Nope, the mod itself and the mod manager is free to use/install.
It would have you download the manager and mod. Then you launch the game with said manager after you've downloaded the mod. You'd have to make sure the mod was selected so that it ran along with your game and that should be it.
Here's a link.

Arigatō Mudkip!
I'm gonna give this a go later tonight.
If it works out the way it should my next PC game will be a modded Oblivion. <3

How does Steam make things easier?
I've actually never purchased a game on Steam before due to the lack of my PC experience. Also if I purchased Fallout 3 on Steam would that allow me to play for achievements again? Or are Steam games separate from Live?

it will still load up GFWL if you launch it from steam as long as you don't run the patched out version lol.
games on steam will download and install by themselves, and get their updates when available on steam and download in the background when you launc it.
steam works shows all the mods (on steamworks) and allows you to download and install them pretty easily. if a game has steamworks, then it's integrated fully into the game.

So it's way smarter to buy games on Steam, then purchase there physical copy from a store?

Thanks for all the helpful advise.
I feel like the only gamer that hasn't used Steam. Time for that to change, gonna buy AA, Fallout 3 and New Vegas. They're all super cheap. <3
