That's only language, & if you have a swear-jar and/or explain rationally why people should limit their language, or not use certain words at all- I think kids recognize & appreciate education on most any subject- assuming they respect & appreciate the person saying it. I'm not a parent, but I seem to level better with kids than most my age, & when I'm gaming with kids- albeit it's Smash Bros Melee or Street Fighter, & not GTAV or Call of Duty, it's all relative.
If my future kid said "fuck off, lady" to a random chick at a store- you bet your ass my future kid would soon be red-faced crying their eyes out, before apologizing to said lady. And then I'm pretty sure the kid would learn not to do that again.

For real.
Not to insult you, but when you are a parent, you will understand. Kids are "Pete the repeat parrots" before they are old enough to reason or be rational. I know, I know- everyone without a kid knows exactly what they're like. But you really don't until you have one who is actually yours.
I don't have a swear jar because my kids don't swear, lol.

And they probably wont swear around you if they know the words for a while, I know all the curse words before I was 6 due to unfortunate living circumstances that changed for the better soon afterwards. Im not saying that me = your kids but from someone who grew up with all these violent movies and playing turok on n64 and growing up with gta, they will know the difference between what to say and how to behave and how not to because of your parenting.
im not a parent nor do I try to give advice to parents, im just speaking as a person who grew up with this stuff.

You know- I still can't swear in front of my parents. I swear like a trucker to everyone else, but it runs deep with my parents. I can't even say like- sex or vagina or crap, the words would stick if I tried. Even if it's just reading something with an obscenity on it, or quoting a song. I'm the opposite from you- I was very sheltered in what I was allowed to see- and I didn't start swearing until high school. I didn't swear before that because that stuff just wasn't in my head. It would be like me speaking Swahili. Even though my mom would swear when she was mad, I didn't have the words to use even if I wanted to. Both of my siblings have no problem with swearing now, just me.
I think that's pretty much all I was trying to say. If you keep stuff like gta and games like that series out of your kids' hands, you keep those words and images out of their brains. Yeah, kids at school are going to swear and start talking and they'll pick up a lot of stuff that you'll wish they didn't, but they won't have the violent stuff in their heads. They won't be jaded and desensitized and they won't use fuck as a sentence filler. I really don't know any way to explain it. I'm not saying that parents who let kids play that crap are raising criminals or should lose their kids, or that every kid that plays gta is going to go rob a bank... Just that they're raising kids who have adult themes in their heads, and that's going to come out if you let it.
And I'll repeat what I said originally- if you let your kids play gta and you allow them to talk like the game and use words from the game to disrespect you or anyone else, the fault lies with you- not the video game. Because the game was meant for adults, not spongey little kids, and it is the job of parents to set the limits on acceptable behavior, not an ott game.
/novel, and apparently an unpopular opinion that I never knew was unpopular.

Or the same $50 game could come with free DLC codes for every expansion, like what I found in the Japanese copies of Dragon Age 1 & Dragon Age 2. Yes, they came out later than the US release, but it wasn't some "complete edition", it was the core game on (their) launch. BUT companies will charge us anyway, so I'd rather have the current model, than the price of games going up to $80. Yes, games are a hell of a lot cheaper now. Back with cartridges, those old SNES games, a fair amount went for that much.

I also think Greek Yogurt tastes disgusting and I have no idea why people prefer it over normal yogurt.

It's way healthier. The protein to carb ratio is better than normal yogurt. Dannon Oikos is really good, tastes pretty much like normal yogurt, but has more sugar and less protein than Chobani (which always smells spoiled to me).
