Right now I agree with this, but I haven't played Revelations and only have a couple hours in 3.
I felt like 2 improved on the original in every way except maybe the mysterious story, and that Brotherhood was fun but felt very repetitive.

Assassins Creed 2 is amazing and is better than all the other Assassins creed. I do love it so much but for some reason i love the first one the most. Its just something about it that makes me choose 1 over 2.

I'd put 1 as my favorite. Purely because of the novelty and originality of it at the time. My friends and I were obsessed. Every game after I loved as well, simply because I am infatuated with the series, but the first will always hold a special place in my heart.

Connor is a Man we can all respect, but also hope we never become. He accomplished so much, in (fiction), but having started the DLC with Washington, all he really wanted, was his Mother to be safe. Instead, he's thrust into a nightmare.
