I have NEVER played any Final Fantasy game, I find the Halo games way over rated and not worth my time. Call of Duty games needs to stop, it's the same recycled storyline in every game. I bought Dragon Age 2 nearly 2 years ago and haven't even opened it. I hate all kinds of racing games they're a major borefest

I like RPGs just fine, I like the mass effect series, and I liked DA: O, and Legend of Zelda games. I just never saw the point of getting into Final Fantasy is all, and yes, I don't much care for FPS or Racing games...granted I'll play FPS' if I'm with friends.

When you look at it that way, what's the point of getting into any games? I highly encourage you to try any Final Fantasy before 11. 4,6,8,9,10 were the best IMO

Mass Effect is dope. Brought a lot of fans to the genre. Zelda is not much of a RPG IMO. As for FF it has lost it's appeal in recent years but each one has a different flavor.

I'm just saying, if you're a fan of RPGs you're missing out on those gems, although it sounds like you're more of a fan of Western RPGs, and yes 6-9 were PSX, if you're using emulators I recommend the GBA version of 6 with the SNES Music Patch (Bonus Content with the original SNES Soundtrack)

They may not be the "Be all end all" but not trying them at all is doing yourself a disservice. They are remaking FFX in HD. That's a good place to start.

Sometimes I just hate professors. Not all of them, just the ones that don't get it that there is life outside of the university. It's called 'real life' where people have to worry about money and kids and time with said kids and time with a spouse and ...you get the idea.
