That's basically the same as taking 4 Advil. They both = 800 mg, lol. I have to take 5 or 6 normies to get any relief, so I feel ya. Nothing beats diazepam.
Yet "hospital" ibuprofen is usually just 800 mg of it. Though Snapple it IS a pain reliever, its drug classification is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). So it's better for pain relief when there are things like swelling involved.
Personally if I'm in that much pain, I alternate Ibuprofen with Acetaminophen (Tylenol) every two hours (Tylenol at 12pm and 4pm and ibuprofen at 2pm and 6 pm). That way you get the most pain relief with over the counter drugs. Plus you won't kill yourself with too much of anything.
Of course this is a temporary thing, not something to do on a consistent basis.

I'd rather take a ton of Advil and just make sure it's not on an empty stomach than ruin my liver with Tylenol though. Although extreme cases call for Aleve.
I do 6 on dr's orders, though.
@snapple- dynasty warrior games are like- 100 hour completions.

Meh, as long as you don't take Tylenol daily you shouldn't have liver problems. Frankly almost any drug you take is going to weaken your liver or your kidney in the long run. Though Tylenol is generally worse since it is hepatotoxic.
I personally don't take hardly anything unless I have to. Not a macho thing, but I like that the drugs work pretty effectively when I do take them since my body isn't used to them
