Tylenol is marketed as like- the only thing you can take when you're pregnant. I mean it destroys your liver and doesn't work well, but you should totally take it for daily pregnancy headaches.

Yes! Argh, it makes me irate. Tylenol is specifically marketed to kids, the elderly, preggo females, and people that can't take NSAIDs or any other pill for that matter.
Which are literally all the people that genuinely should NOT be taking acetaminophen.
Reasonably pure cocaine is safer and gentler on your system than acetaminophen. Hell, opium is too.

Tylenol is safe for pregnancy because it doesn't get to the placenta. Which is the important thing. Otherwise it would potentially be the worst drug ever during pregnancy as it would kill the baby's developing liver.
No it shouldn't be considered as "safe" as some people think it is, however it's one of the drugs out there that has the least side effects and least complications.
Which in turn why it probably "doesn't work well" since most medications that work better eff up your system in other ways.

Literally everyone at my work is quitting. I feel like they all know something I don't and I'm a little afraid. Even the assistant manager quit. What have I gotten myself into??
