I am unsure how that is a spoiler thought. But yes.

It was a spoiler just in case someone hadn't completed the quest and didn't want to know anything about eat, even if it is a minor detail.
Also, I am now at level 31 and highly loving this game. One more question though if someone knows the answer. I have taken quite a liking to conjuring my own weapons, but am a little unsure as to how the damage is calculated. Since it levels both conjuring and one-handed will I be fine with sticking with this? Or will it be better in the long run if I switch to a normal weapon?

Switch to normal weapons so you can enchant them.

I feel like as long as you have no issue killing enemies, it shouldn't matter what you use. the more things you get leveled the better, right?

As long as one handed and conjuration are going up then your damage with one handed weapons is going up as well. If you're only using that conjured weapon, it will be considerably stronger than any other one handed weapon because the weapon you use while getting your one handed up gains extra damage.

That's what I've been hoping. The only weapon I have been using for the last 20 levels or so has been conjured.

I thoroughly enjoy Skyrim. Got a lvl 57 Breton Warrior with a few lvl 100 Skills and i've completed all quests (Excluding Radiant Obviously) in 170 Hours
On a 2nd playthrough as a dark Elf Mage.

I completed it but I didn't have any problems with this one. Do you have any previous saves or autosaves that you can revert back to before you entered the house? If not, according to http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:The_House_of_Horrors, you may have just lost that character.

Tis' not a race. There's always that unfortunate "life" stuff that screws things up; enjoy Skyrim at your own pace! That's a big part of what makes it so fun, yarr.

Yes it is to your spoiler. If your going to do all of the Daedric quests for the achievement I suggest looking up a guide for them because almost all of them have a glitch of some kind in it which can ruin your chances of getting the achievement on that save file.
