I don't know if it can be attributed to the recent update but I was finally able to go back and finish the College of Winterhold questline. At first I tried just going back to the College after the update to see if "Containment" would start if I talked to Mirabella but it wouldn't. So loaded a really old save point from before I started "Revealing the Unseen" and when I finished it "Containment" started immediately just like it's supposed to.

It's pretty lame patching Ebony Armor is not a high priority. It's the third best armor in the game yet it's absolutely worthless to me if the set bonus does not work.

I haven;t had a chance to play Skyrim this year yet and i'm disappointed, I just have such a huge rpg backlog though I don't really have time until the first DLC comes out.

So this has been the only game I've played for like two months now. 125 hours in and I finally get around to finishing the main questline tonight. I loved it! I still need to restore the Thieves Guild to it's former glory and learn 20 shouts but other than a few random side quests and faction ambient quests and finding like another 20 some fucking skill books, I'm pretty much done.

Skyrim quickly became a favorite for me, passing Oblivion simply by virtue of the NPC AI. How much they do and react to really brings the world more to life. I didn't think I'd like the setting quite as much-- tend to prefer tropical or temperate environments-- but I fell in love with it too, very majestic and breathtaking. Like in Oblivion I spend a lot of time hiking around just taking in the scenery.
Only fly in the ointment for me so far has been that I got a glitch in the Companions questline that won't let me start Blood's Honor. I got a misc quest to get a weapon in Glenmoril (said to be an issue) and also cleared it too early. Nothing I did would fix it and so now my main character is stuck as a werewolf. Was recently able to get the final Companions achievement on another, much earlier file, but hope glitches like this that discourage exploration will be patched soon.
A smaller gripe, but I also am obsessive about keeping named NPCs alive so I have had to become very careful about corpse hunting after dragon attacks and have frequent reloads, especially now that I have ancients around. Unfortunately, unlike the commercial, most NPCs don't flee but go boldly charging in wearing their rags and wielding their trusty daggers and pickaxes, and go down quickly. Had a funny one in Dawnstar recently where, the whole time during the animation of me jumping on the dragon's head and finishing it off, a female NPC was hacking away at the thing's foot.

This thread hasn't been active in a while, but I wanted to post this here. This is a video of a glitch I ran into during a quest:

Well I guess I pretty much screwed myself out of finishing the DLC cheevos to get the completion again. I'll have to start a whole new game if I wanna get the Werewolf Mastered cheevo. I chose to cure myself at the end of the Companion questline and then I had Aela The Huntress run with me as my companion for the longest time until she got killed during one of the late main quests. With all the fucking worthless NPCs that are incapable of dying, why in the fuck did they make her the only person able to turn you back into a werewolf?!
I screwed myself further by deleting all my old pre-Dawnguard saves. I figured what they hell would I need them for since I already had the initial 1K.

That really sucks man! I guess I should go see if she's still alive in my game since I haven't played since January. I still have a few pre-Dawnguard saves just in case though.
I have been taking my sweet ass time with the DLC hoping not to screw up any of the last achievements. With my luck I'll have already killed the face-changer lady & end up 20 points short...

Oh and what the fuck is with Legendary Dragons only showing up around what, level 78?!
I went to see if I could find that book, the Ohgma Infinium, do the level up exploit but couldn't find it. If it stays in your inventory then I either put it on a shelf in one of my houses or sold it. Looks like I'll have to find other ways to level up if I want that cheevo.

That sucks IRiSH. I don't even know what to say about that. If you do start another game for the completion, get back book and level up quick. It only takes a couple hours to get to that quest if you just power through the main story line.

Well fuck it. I'm at level 57 so I'm just gonna level up legit to get the legendary dragon and then start a new game to get the werewolf master cheevo.

Question for those that have completed the main quest: Have any of you had glitch problems with the tower you're supposed to enter in Blackreach when searching for the Elder Scroll?

I did get it to work properly after a few tries; but dang, having one or the other glitch happen started to make me pissed off.
