Well my character is level 53 and so far the only Daedric items I have been able to find are bows, a few swords and daggers, and I got one enchanted plate (did something for illusion or some shit) and that's it. But there is a really cheap and easy way to get your smithing up. Just make iron daggers. Its cheap and really fast. (Only took me about 500 daggers to get 100 smithing) Then once you get the perk to make Daedric armor you just need to get Ebony Ingots and Daedric Hearts. The Ingots/Ore is easy to get from a blacksmith and the hearts you can buy from Enthir at the College of Winterhold. (I cant remember if there is any requirements to buy them but Enthir at the college will sell 2 [I believe] at a time and he restocks every 48 hours).

Look back a few pages to find my leveling guide. There's a really easy way to get your smithing to 100 in about an hour. It is also posted on TA for the level 50 achievement. I only found daedric gauntlets while playing the game, the only way to get a complete set is it get your smithing to 100, use 6-7 perk points and choose the ability to make daedric armor. Then you must get the required items to make it. Dragonscale armor is much easier to make and only a few points less in the armor department. If you level up your light/heavy armor (whichever you use more), the better the armor will be. In my game I have light armor completely maxed out, so a full set of light dragon armor has a 655 rating. While a full set of daedric armor only has 390. But, if I fill my perk constellation in heavy armor the full set of daedric armor will do over 800. After your armor does over 500, you're pretty much invincible to anything except ancient dragons, and even those won't hurt you too badly.
For me getting the best gear early on ruined my game experience. No matter what I found (armor), it wasn't nearly as good as my armor. So that was something that made me mad about the game. Spending am hour leveling up to be able to get the best armor sucked, I know I would've been much more excited finding and using better armor as I played the game. Oh well.

Thanks, its on page 21 for me, which is 16 pages back, so that's why I didn't see it. I didn't go back far enough. I may have to give some of that stuff a try.
