Final Fantasy Type 0 is dope as ****! Very solid game so far minus the wonky camera and dated graphics. Love the mature theme and combat.

Idk. It is definitely a serious themed game, but it really feels like what it is- a port of a psp game. I don't know if it's just me, but I feel like I am playing a psp game on a big screen. So I'm not comparing it to xiii or xiv, it's drawing more parallels to crisis core imo.
Still need to try out the xv demo, I've heard nothing but good things.

Definitely agree with the Crysis Core comparisons over XIII. But then again I really liked Crysis Core.
@ BoyzRFlatt - Pick Type 0 up if you enjoy action rpgs and want to try FF XV. As for a introduction to the series overall I'd recommended picking up the FF X HD remake instead.

do you like jrpgs? if so I would say yeah go for it.
I would then suggest playing 10, 9, 6, 4, 7, 8, and a few others (honestly the order doesn't matter since the stories aren't connected) if you have time and don't mind outdated graphics.
