Random Gaming

Post your random gaming experiences and theories here.

So I finally got back into playing GTA V and met Ursula. Anyone had the pleasure of making her acquaintance yet? Funniest strangers mission yet.

I also just had someone explain the "Dead Squall" theory to me. I HOPE nobody here subscribes to this.

The Dead Squall Theory actually makes perfect sense when you think and actually hear it out, it kind of changed my view and perception of FF VIII that everything

past disk 1 is pretty much a figment of Squall's imagination, as the theory said, and extended version of "Life flashing before his eyes"

Other than that, any free time I've had recently has been spent on Tales of Graces f, this game is excellent and makes me wonder why I never got a PS3 since it has the best JRPGs

theory is much more plausible and I could easily cite numerous clues.

I wonder which game has more crazy theories VIII or Chrono Cross?

As for Tales of Graces F...

What a great port!!! A must buy for any JRPG fan.

I haven't read up on the 2nd theory but it was something that interested me.

And Yes! Quite!! Although my only complaint is that the music, particularly the battle themes, is the weakest I've heard in the series.

I've been spending my free time playing might and magic clash of heroes. It's not too bad of a game- kinda boogie bunnies meets puzzle quest lol.

Yeah I read through it. It's pretty far fetched considering it hinges on Squall's imagination. He does not seem the type to make up Moomba's or make up a girlfriend scenario where he is constantly uncomfortable.

The bit where his so called imaginary dad banged imaginary (girlfriend) Rinoa's mom unbeknownst to anyone is something that could have only came from reality. Who would dream that outside of Kimberly?

I certainly respect the passion that dude has about VIII. I have contemplated making a fan-site about it before.

It's a lot like "The Walking Dead" game only it's plot is similar to "Once upon a Time". It's anything but your typical fairy tale though. The first episode reminded me of Dexter for example.

A killer trying to reform and be the hero. Only his urges often get the better of him. Sound familiar?

Beyond that, it's making up a scenario that doesn't exist. Saying that when he died, his life doesn't pass before his eyes, his dad's past does, and his possible future does. That's not a thing. That's never been an accepted thing. Sheesh.

There are holes in his theory big enough to drive a truck through. Off to write an angry email.

I wish the fucking baby carrier achievement in Shoot Many Robots wasn't solely based on random drops.
