Prune juice is disgusting. Don't let her bully you, Adrian! Kick her in the ham wallet!
Gamebryo is an awesome engine but yes it IS dated and, as has been shown by stuff like Splatterhouse and Fallout NV, it doesn't necessarily translate well to other properties.
I think they could have taken the time to update and refine Gamebryo instead of making an all new engine but then again, Bethesda has been doing that for a long time--taking on huge, open-world gaming projects and basically building a brand new engine as they go.
The results, while a little buggy and glitchy, are usually pretty fuckin good, so now I am that much more anxious to see what the next Elder Scrolls adventure is like.
-edit- Okay technically this was originally in response to Hektic's article but it also fits here so shutup I hate you.

I loved it too!
Did you two really like it? I see where a sequel comes out after the new year.

Honestly, there was a lot to love about Two Worlds. E-RPG's, as I call them, tend to be on the buggy/glitchy side so I was prepared for a glitchfest before I played.
ERPG's are all about the details, the backstories, the stuff... Often to the detriment of other areas that need improvement, like actual gameplay.

I loved it! For real, I had a lot of fun with it. Millions of weapon combinations and items to be found. It was great.

I'm excited as hell about Skyrim, I've been waiting for it for years now. I have very high hopes for this game, I hope it's the size of Oblivion. What worries me is the size of Skyrim compared to Cyrodill.

Two Worlds would have been better if they didn't try to be better than Oblivion.
But... PRAISE BE TO AKATOSH.

I always wanted to get the Oblivion collectors edition but I had all the DLC for the game so I didnt want another more expensive copy, plus I just wanted the bonus making of DVD. Skyrim Collector's Edition will be a day one purchase for me.
