I have heard many complaints about Fallout New Vegas and it's issues; Skyrim better not have these issues.

I doubt it will. They've had a good 4-5 years to work on it, but Fallout: New Vegas was released way to quickly IMO. I didn't actually buy it, but played it for a bit. It seemed as if they took everything from Fallout 3, dropped it in a desert, changed the questline, and boom. New Vegas.
On a different note, am I the only one stoked about beards being confirmed in the game? :D

Oblivion had a very interesting story and gameplay elements but the only true bad thing about oblivion was the frame rates when skyrim comes out i believe bethesda will fix though

Skyrim is being built with a completely new engine; New Vegas (and Fallout 3) used a heavily modified form of the Gamebryo engine from Oblivion. That is the primary reason for the bugs & glitches.

Yeah, I heard about the new engine, and from everything I've seen of the game so far, it looks 10x better than Oblivion. Still, even though New Vegas used the old engine, which is pretty outdated by now, they could have spent another year or two polishing it up a bit. Not sure if it would've helped, as I'm not really that big into programming and all that.

It definitely would of helped. Even fallout fans have made a better version with the NEVADA PROJECT, a team that re-made the PC version of Fallout Vegas with some fairly sick new features.
