The action was good but that story seemed really forced to me.
Just wait for the action-packed sequel!
Taken 3: this time, it's personal.
"WTF man, why you kidnap us?"
"Listen to me very carefully. I have a very particular set of skills. You kidnapped my daughter and my wife. Now I have kidnapped you. You have to figure out how to get out of this so you can find me and kill me."
"Good luck."
I've seen it before, but it is definitely worth multiple viewings (Just finished it again on Netflix). I highly recommend!!!
7/10
Good action packed fun. Mark Ruffalo is no Edward Norton however and his scenes conflict with the personality we got to know in the Hulk movie.

The story was fun, the acting was great, and it was just an overall good movie.
The cast was fantastic. You have Jason Schwartzman, Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Bruce Willis, and a few other fantastic actors.
Of course, I may be biased, seeing as I am a huge Wes Anderson fan.
Yes you are biased, because Jason Schwartzman wouldn't be referred to as a great actor in any other situation.
I really want to see this. I am also a Wes Anderson fan.

I do agree with this, and I found it strange that Norton wasn't Banner/Hulk this time, but since I still haven't seen the Ed Nort Hulk movie anyway, I thought Mark Ruffalo's take on the character was really well done. Avengers was the first time I ever cared about the live action Hulk.
I always found the character boring and the only thing that redeemed him was the animated "Hulk vs Thor" Marvel studios did--it made the character both interesting and relevant. I feel like Joss Whedon dug in to it a lot for the Avengers version of the angry green thing.
Starship Troopers: Invasion - 5/5
Holy crap this was great. If you were a fan of the original Starship Troopers movie and/or book, you should definitely check out this new CG film. The two live-action sequels were pretty good for what they were but Invasion really captures all the essence of what made the original so good: the gung-ho infantry with co-ed showers, the brutal but effective assault rifles, the ornery ship captains and tons of the stupid bugs. This film even ups the ante by having the mobile infantry in powered armor, making it closer to the book and original film.
Big recommend for sci-fi/action fans, war movie fans, and anybody with a pulse. It's space marines blasting alien bugs, what's not to like?! It's out at Redbox and I imagine Netflix will have it soon if they don't already.
Seeing Pitch Perfect in about a half-hour. Previews look hilarious but we'll see...
