Some say that all houses have memories. For one man, his home is the place he would kill to forget. A family unknowingly moves into a home where several grisly murders were committed...only to find themselves the killer's next target. Successful publisher Will Atenton (Craig) quit a job in New York City to relocate his wife, Libby (Weisz), and two girls to a quaint New England town. But as they settle into their new life, they discover their perfect home was the murder scene of a mother and her children. And the entire city believes it was at the hands of the husband who survived. When Will investigates the tragedy, his only lead comes from Ann Paterson (Watts), a neighbor who was close to the family that died. As Will and Ann piece together the disturbing puzzle, they discover that the story of the last man to leave Will's dream house will be just as horrifying to the one who came next.
I have to say that I thought this was a great movie, I think maybe it is because I am having a child of my own now that when putting yourself into Wills shoes is a very emotional ride. This is more of a suspense thriller, there are no cheap scares anywhere but this movie will keep you on the edge of your seat while never knowing exactly how the movie is going to end, until...well......the end.

A thriller centered on the threat posed by a deadly disease and an international team of doctors contracted by the CDC to deal with the outbreak.
Have not finished this movie yet but so far it is a pretty decent movie when knowing what you are going in for. It is not a fast paced suspense filled movie as the classic Outbreak movie was, but there are plenty of psychological scares and thrills within the movie to keep you half way enjoying it.
Really enjoyed it.
pretty good action film. Denzel is still great, Reynolds brings his acting up a bit from the horrible green lantern, but he still has quite a ways to go before he redeems himself.
I found this movie to be very enjoyable, I highly recommend it.
Other than that completely butchering Erika Berger's side plot; therefore really ruining her whole character in the process and leaving out Blomkvist's affair with Figuerolla, I still think they did a better job sticking to the book in this film than in the first two. I just really didn't care one bit for the actress they gave the role of Erika to. I like Robin Wright in the first American film so much more and look forward to her performing in the sequels. I'm so fucking done with foreign films for now. I'll give the Swedes one thing though; they didn't waste any damn time releasing the sequels. Who knows how long we'll have to wait to see how the American version stacks up.
I just loved the visuals in this movie, so much to see

I was going into this movie with high hopes that it would live up to the books....or at least be, good? I have to say that not 20 minutes into the movie I was very disappointed. Surely the director for numerous Grey's Anatomy and Weeds episodes combined with 4 writers (two being nobodies, 1 being a writer for Nurse Jackie and the other being the one who actually WROTE THE BOOK) can do the book justice....................*big sigh* /facepalm
The movie jumps around the book from point a...to point d...then back to point b...then to point e..lets come back to point c...It was a big headache. I will admit, I like Katherine Heigl and I have become a big Jason O'Mara fan from Terra Nova as well as Daniel Sunjata from Rescue Me but most all the other actors in this movie should finally quit there day job, ESPECIALLY Patrick Fischler who played the bails bondsman Vincent Plum. John Leguizamo doesn't even seem to be trying in this movie.
My grandmother got me into the Stephanie Plum novels when she was still with us, she would always buy the book and then give to me to read and we would talk about our favorite parts of the book so on and so forth, so yeah, reading the Stephanie Plum novels have become quite a big thing for me and I was looking forward to this movie for the longest....LONGEST time, and now......I just wish they would shoot everyone who had anything to do with the creation of this movie.
Except for Janet Evanovich. The books are awesome, the movie on the other hand........nothing to sneeze at.
........I should have taken my wife to go see The Vow like she wanted to.
Shark Night, 4/10- movie sucked, first off I thought it was rated R and it was PG-13 so NO titties to be seen then it just turned out to be a garbage rent...
