Extremely loud Incredibly Close3.5/5 good movie, kinda sad
Man On A Ledge- 3/5. Pretty decent, Sam W. does a pretty good job leading this film.
A biopic of notorious French gangster Jaques Mesrine (the S is silent if you give a shit) portrayed by Vincent Cassel who some would most recently recognize as the sleazy ballet director in Black Swan. Mesrine was a ruthless bastard that first made headlines in the late 60's and 70's after he kidnapped some millionaire in Montreal and then broke out of a maximum security prison. Character development was a little lacking as it's just under 2 hours but still worth a watch if you don't mind French with subtitles or dubbed over English. I went with the dubbed English and it wasn't that bad. I never would've heard of this movie if I hadn't seen a trailer for it when I watched the Swedish Girl Who Played With Fire. Apparently some critics are calling it the French Scarface. I wouldn't go that far but I would still recommend it if you enjoy gangster flicks based on real people.
I was very pleased with the latest installment of the Underworld series. There's plenty of action and violence to please anyone and with the changes in the world that they've made, it opens up new directions. I can't wait to see another one.
I am sure someone is going to like this movie, it just isn't going to be me.
The Thing 2011- 7.5/10 the thing was awesome, Hollywood f#@&ed it up!
The Thing 1982- 9/10 (for its age)this was my favorite horror movie when i was a kid next to Aliens

If that's the one I'm thinking about that's on Netflix, I tried watching that and fell asleep in the first 10 minutes. Woke up 4 hours later and decided to never try and watch it again.
Fright Night 2011 - 4/5 Hollywood needs to take note that this is how you do a remake/reboot
Rango 2/10 Awful, Very Slow Building.
Mr Poppers Penguins: 9/10 Great Job by Jim Carrey
The concluding 2nd part of the story of notorious French gangster, bank robber and prison break extraordinaire Jaques Mesrine. Dude broke of prison 3 times! Vincent Cassel puts in a great performance as Mesrine. Pretty damn good for a French flick.
