I dont know why people are surprised that there are problems with MP. When a game is based on single player and then it comes out with a second game and they try to make a multiplayer mode = fail. Im really looking forward to the new Dead Space but same thing there new MP= fail
Loved Red Alert 2 for PC. Found out RA3 was on 360, had to get.
It's pretty much the perfect shooter. It tells an interesting story in an original setting, with most of the heavy narrative elements being optional. The enemies are varied but make sense and tie in with the location, and progression through the game is a perfect balance of free exploration and linear, directed goal-seeking. The way different weapons and plasmids interact with each other is awesome, and the hacking mini-game is neat.
Decent football game. 9/10 when it was new, but still holds up in the face of dated rosters and slightly laggy gameplay.
i really want to give this game a 10, but so far i can't.
i haven't beat it yet, but the story is certainly lacking at this point. not to mention there's absolutely nothing scary or freaky about it. i might be missing something because i have kids screaming in the background or my wife asking me questions, but i can't even chalk it up to that. it's just bland. it was EPIC when i first started, and now it seems like a chore. i'm just running around killing people who are much stronger than me, and i can't say i give a shit about the characters. they don't have any impact, unlike the first game.
it's still fun as hell though, which is why i give it a 9. i just hope the campaign gets better.
