There's no such thing. I'm more liberal in my views now. But I won't get into that. And there's no point in bringing it up. Please do not in future. I hope you can respect that I don't want things to be drudged up from the past. Let sleeping dogs lie. It does in no way affect my gaming, and I have decided to keep my views to myself now. As such this will be probably the last political based thread I will make. It is a little petty to bring things up like that. I am just here to share in the hobby that is gaming. I think you are too.
I promise I was just joking around House. Please don't feel like you can't express your personal views, feelings and/or opinions on things, past or present, here on XbA. The fact that we can bring up stuff here and even sometimes discuss it in a civil manner is part of why I like this net community so much.
If you regret bringing the matter up, that is fine, and it needn't be brought up again in the future. But know that if I was going to peg myself down in a political ideology camp, it would probably be somewhere between fascist and communist as well; no one is here to judge you for past or current political views, and you should take any- and everything said here with a grain of salt because we like to kid around a lot and have fun, even when it's with hot-button, potentially war-starting issues like political affiliation, Kool-aid suicide cults, or xenomorphic dip that eats kittens and eludes black-listed government agencies.

I'm four months too young to vote. It wouldn't matter though, as I'm pretty confident Bob Barr won't win with, or without my vote.

See my PM for why I said what I did. I do not regret bringing up anything, I only regret that there have been some people who cannot let some things go. That is all I will say on the subject (if anyone has any questions, problems, etc., feel free to PM me. I don't bite. Promise. I also promise to respond to your PM in as much of a mature way as I can, and to alleviate any concerns you may have. I do not push my beliefs political or otherwise on people). Moving on!

I know. And I think when he reads my PM, he will understand even better why I reacted how I did. The simple, condensed version: Someone drudged up something that was old news about me, posted about it on the forum. For days/weeks/whatever afterwards, no one could let it go. I left, hoping for things to cool down. Since then whenever anyone makes even the slightest mention of such things (including the ED article that was written by a group of people on ANOTHER forum who are notorious for writing articles about people who are not part of the 'collective') I am quick to squash the whole thing. Not in a defensive way but in a 'past is the past, bringing it up adds nothing to the discussion' type way. Cause all bringing it up does is bring the forum into an uproar, and hijacks things, not to mention it's just a way for people to feel 'good' about themselves, because they cannot outside of the internet, have any cool cred. So, they make things up, or use google to find things that have since expired when it comes to fact, and post it up for all the forum to see. I do not want anything like that to happen again, which is why when I left I swore to stay away from heated political discussions as much as I could, because I felt eventually it would devolve to 'NAZI! COMMUNIST!1!1!"
I hope everyone understands now why my reaction came about as it is. It is a knee-jerk reaction that I am not proud of, as I know deep down, not everyone on the internet uses anonymity to be jerks. Hell, nowadays I laugh about such things with my friends because of the utter ridiculousness of it all.
NOW I'm really moving on. Again, feel free to PM me. Also, to anyone who remembers/was part of what happened months and months ago, I did not mention nor will ever mention names, only situations. And I have also decided to give everyone a clean slate (but with the added affect of I will be quicker to ignore you and such like if you 'act up'). So please, refrain from mentioning it. I can take a joke, but it's hard for me to take one that coming from other people would NOT be a joke. If anyone has anything to say about this topic, please keep it to PMs, don't reply just to stir things up or get the last word. I will refrain from making any reference to my political views as much as I can, as it only leads to trouble. Any post you make regarding the issue will be untouched by me, making you look a tad foolish.
On a related note to the original posting of this thread, I am libertarian more now than I was a while ago, as I have had time to grow and see what is going on in the world, not to mention in my backyard. Yes I have registered, no I have not voted early.
I now take my bow and shall remove myself from the soapbox (if that metaphor works here...)

You do realize that you only have yourself to blame, as you brought it up twice in posts within the last 24 hours. A bit of free advice to maybe think about...If you want something to go away, quit bringing it up in your threads and then overreacting when people pick up on it.
