Crom + female MU gives different story options... That seems more canon to me.
I took Crom and Dumb-iya all the way to A rank to see their relationship and never really felt he felt anything towards her. She seems as much unrequited love as Cordelia to me. He had more affection in supports to Sully and Maribelle.
I didn't bother to grind Olivia for Lucina, but you can give Lucina galeforce that way. Crom makes a beast Inigo.
I took everyone to A just to see their stories before I chose, lol. Some are awkward or just plain weird.
I did Nowi and Donnell too. He's a beast- he'd be awesome with anyone.
I took it as Crom falling in love with her after her dynamic rescue in chapter 1. He is terrible with women in all of his scenes though. She is also seen marrying him and holding Lucina in the games intro. Personality wise...I prefer Cordelia.
It's sad that's not an option... Cordelia is cool.

Cordelia and Tharja never get their man. I usually pair Cordelia with Gaius since his personality is hilarious with her daughter. Tharja with Henry is fun too.

Isn't tharja's man the male MU? She can get him can't she? I have her with Virion because I wanted bonuses for Noire the super sniper.

Male or female MU actually. You can marry her but nobody ever does since Noire does not match well with Tactician. Henry offers to assassinate you to win her hand.

All in all best couple: Male MU + Tiki IMO. Takes forever to get though.

If you're looking for games after Awakening, as much as I like Agarest, you should play the new X-Com first. Agarest has a pretty steep difficultly, if you don't endlessly grind (or buy game-breaking DLC weapons & hundreds of thousands of PP points, like I did). Even with said advantages, there's some difficulty in having to select just the right dialog choices, to see final bosses. If you're looking for achievements, you can see that mine for Agarest & Agarest Zero are each only about 400-500, and played those both pretty extensively. Half the time I spent on X-Com, and overall had more fun, and easier achievements. But you can't marry characters and watch them have babies, so there's that...

Xcom is a amazing strategy game but it's not exactly a typical RPG . It offers up no intriguing characters and minimal plot beyond "ALIENS WTF". It's very short and has been extremely watered down compared to previous Xcom games. It's definitely a better game then Agarest overall but know what your getting into.

Yeah I only like the ones with the RPG elements.
No, I'm serious.

xcom isn't a short game tool like 25 hours for my first playthrough

You can prolong it indefinitely but it takes no time to unlock the missions required to beat the game.
@ Kat - This IS a RPG thread after all.

For RPGs standards that's a very short game, a lot of my favorite RPGs are, at a bare minimum, at least 40 Hours

25 is even a stretch. Agarest is well over 40.

I have more than 200+ Hours into the first one, I'd say I probably have about 50 Hours to go as I gotta finish the Spoiler: Click here to toggle spoilerBoundary Plane and The True End and mop up the last few achievements
Then I gotta replay Agarest Zero but I'm taking a break from them right now haha.
