The beginning of this game is beyond boring.

Unfortunately I haven't found a fix yet, and I am up to 98% complete. The Troy's Wood delivery request is my last delivery mission....and there is not many new things left for me to do.....but I will keep plugging away and see if there is a workaround......

did anyone happen to notice the trailer for the DLC and Connor's new wolf outfit? I thought it looked awesome!

Anyone interested in knocking out a couple challenges to get the hacked video achievement?
....I like wolfpack, but not real fond of MP. I suppose I could grind it out myself, but you know...much easier just getting 4 people and boosting the couple challenges...

I'm not sure which achievement you're talking about, as I kind of left this game when Blops came out
but I'm in!

Complete some sort of challenge, aerial kills + multi kills for one, capturing a domination section defended by two people, etc.
I've done the others (except level 20) the wolfpack getting to 10 was cake, I got to 23 on my own on my second try...

This thread sure has quieted down, but hopefully someone is scoping it out, and can provide me with some advice.
I am sitting at 95% complete, and I am having an issue with a Delivery Request mission.
I walk up to the Troy's Wood npc and the mission title appears, but when I push the interact button it clears, and nothing progresses. The npc's icon disappears, and there are no new items to acquire in my logbook. So as soon as this happens (it has happened twice now) I dashboard the game to prevent the automatic saving feature from corrupting my game file (This is my second playthrough due to another glitch).
I have seen some ideas on various websites, but I want to be relatively sure I am doing the right thing before I do it. I don't want to erase another 36+ hours of work. Has anybody experienced this glitch, or any other delivery glitch, or does anybody know of a sure-fire work-around to this glitch?
Happened to me on the assassination contract in the frontier. I talked and the icon went away, and nothing happened, so I just saved and quit, and when I started it back up everything was there. Despite the bugs and glitches I don't think it will lock you out if you quit. It will just reset where things should be. I hit my 100% last night.

Well I just got the 100% completion for the game. I would suggest doing the side missions and quests as early as possible. I was sitting at 99%, and I just couldn't get this last mission to load.
I would walk up and interact with the npc, nothing would load up, but his icon would go away. So I fast travelled out of the immediate area, and his icon would show back up. I did this about four times with no luck, and no change in the results. I was about to give up when I decided to replay the Paul Revere midnight ride mission. I ignored the route and rode straight to the delivery mission marker, and talked to the guy. The list loaded, and since I already had all the items I was able to immediately deliver them to him. As a result I was able to complete the game 100%.
I tried many different configurations and this is the only thing that worked for me to bypass the glitch. I tried at the present sequence-------nothing. I tried advancing the story and trying again-------nothing. I tried once I completed the main story, and entered back into the animus-------nothing. I tried going back to sequence 7 (the midnight ride)-------nothing. The only way it worked for me was to activate it first in the present, and then go back to sequence 7 (the midnight ride), and talk to him again.

how long does the 1000 take?

I would say it depends on your luck. If your free from glitches, and your good at the minigames, and multiplayer......then some where around 40 hours. I clocked out at 45 hours on this play-through, but I had to delete my first play-through (due to a glitch) after I was over 20 hours into the story.

I got the single player done in 41 hours, but that included a few hours of me idling after forgetting to pause. I'd ballpark the multiplayer cheevos take about 6 hours.

I did the multiplayer stuff in like 3 or less hours. Having good wolfpack partners is the key...
I would say the SP takes a min of 30 hours to get the 100%, but could vary, depending on glitches and if someone follows a guide. I think I had 45+ hours in it, but I know I spent several of those hours screwing around with the Encyclopedia of Common Man achievement (which finally popped, but was glitched).

I absolutely agree that wolfpack is the key to knocking out most of the multiplayer achievements quickly.
Also they held a 150% experience event this past weekend, so that obviously helps cut down time.

As to the single-player like I said it is all about the glitches.
