I imagine they would release Mass Effect 4 first, then a re-release of 1-3 as a stand-alone release with the new upgrades, similar to Vita's FFX HD master

Yeah this is what I was wondering. Kotaku is like the slightly less corporate yet somehow shittier crack baby of IGN and GI doing bath salts for the first time and then making whoopie in the backseat of a car.
Redbox.com still isn't showing which kiosks around here have it so I guess I'll just explore between runs at work today (I'm delivering pizzas as a side job once again, fun!!)

No. If they had given it a 10 and everyone else was like "OMG glitchesss" i wouldn't be saying "kotaku is the shit." But when they're like "I can't give this game a good review because it's unfinished and there is no excuse for how broken it is," in the face of 9s from other outlets, I'll believe them over the sites that do nothing but snow people for every high profile release.
