I never even knew that there was a movie! Wouldn't it have to be, like 7 hours long? lol

Harry Potter is great... Too bad they kill the movies though. 1-3 were good, 4 was OK, but 5... 5 was HORRIBLE! I think the main reason the movies are so bad is that they cut out so much... Hopefully this won't happen with Deathly Hallows, because they're splitting it into 2 parts, each around 2hr 30min.
yeah woohoo they pushed back the 6th movie, which totally blows, i was so excited, but NOOOOOO.
i think the idea of chopping the movie into two parts is dumb because they are releasing them into two different years, wtf is that
and trust me i'm a big hp fan.

the books, although more time-consuming, are indeed 10x better then the movies...they leave out all the awesome parts..

Book Recommendations:
Neuromancer - Gibson
Perdido Street Station - Meiville
Those two are probably the best novels I have read in many many years. Perdido Street Station is simply amazing.

If you are the type that enjoys Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of the Rings, etc., I heartily recommend His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman.
"The Golden Compass" is the first part of 3 books and not only is the book far more engaging than the movie, but once the story moves beyond that it becomes incredible.

Lets see, just saw Max payne and thought it was really good. I was so pumped up that I bought Farcry2 and went home and kicked some ass.
As for reading ( yes, I do read ) currently it's Wizard's First Rule by Terry Goodkind. If you have not read any of his books you are missing out. When I read his work I don't even see the words. It's like being in a 800 page movie!!!

Oh yeah, baby. The Golden Compass, Subtle Knife and Amber Spyglass are my my three favorite books ever. I've never seen the movie, but it's probably a good thing. I wouldn't want to ruin my perception of them.

i like books with the big pictures in them. reading gives me a headache and i can't stay focused on one thing long enough so i never comprehend what i read. if it isn't in surround sound you can't hold my attention.
