Survivor is great. It's written in first person narrative buy the lone survivor of a religous cult that commits mass suicide. He's narrating his story from the cockpit of a 737 he highjacks and sets on a crash course into the Australian Outback. There's no spoiler there if your worried. You get that much from reading the dust jacket or back cover of the paperback. The cool thing is the page numbers go in reverse, counting down until the plane runs out of fuel.
that actually sounds really awesome.
i'll be picking that up.
and meta, do you mean "the raw shark texts?
one of my wife's favorite books. she has a hardcover first edition!
(sorry though she'd never part with it lol)

Currently reading Neil Gaimans' "American Gods". I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in American folklore.

Movie: Red Cliff and Red cliff 2, Based on the Romance of the three kingdoms books but it only has English sub titles but the action secnes are f'in awsome. Directed by John Woo a tough find for these movies also.
