Just getting home from Static-X. Hell of a show, as always!! And I caught a drumstick and the pick that Wayne played the whole show on!! High on evil disco and life right now!!
Edit: How was Mayhem Circus?
Mayhem was awesome, it was hot as fuck and no cloud cover but then my friend got us into VIP (which was a shaded canopy area on top of a giant beer truck ) and we watched As I Lay Dying from up there (got a video of this fat dude doing a sweet dance and there was a blowup doll being crowd surfed around) and a little bit of 2 other setlists before heading to the pavillion for the headliners. Asking Alexandria was alright, Motorhead was boring besides Ace of Spades, Slayer was FUCKING SLAYER (they had giant upside down crosses made out of speakers on the stage) and then Slipknot fucking destroyed and played a great setlist. This dude tried getting up on the stage and got tackled and the shit beat out of him by like 5 security guards underneath Clown's drum set while he was up in the air looking down at the dude, then Clown was all pissed off and started walking around the pavillion pouring out trash cans and throwing them into the lawn which was hilarious, he came like a foot away from us and we tried giving him a high five but he had too many security guards around him. Oh, and Slipknot played Gently which made my night.

That sounds awesome. You just can't beat VIP at a metal show! Clown came out and walked around in Indy too, although that was to high-five and take pictures with most of the handicapped people in the audience, which I found to be pretty cool.

Anyone ever heard of Mose Giganticus? There latest album is "Gift House" and is a great listen.
Can immediately tell they're influenced heavily by Mastodon, don't sound bad at all, the weird noise/vocals? at the beginning of the song remind me of this:

Since I see some others talking about it, I would like to bring up Mayhem Fest. I went for the first time this year. It was my first metal concert, so I didn't know exactly what to expect. I had a fucking blast, though! Got pretty bad sunburn, a few solid kicks on the rim of some mosh pits, and almost obliterated by a flying shoe, but it's all part of the experience, man! And fucking Slipknot puts on such an energy filled, fantastic show!

Damn man I heard about how they did some shows with no vocals, I hope they recorded the one(s) where the crowd was doing the vocals and the band was jamming out, Meshuggah - now with crowd-sourced vo-kills!
