I didn't say neutral, I still enjoyed the movie, so shut up
Wasn't bad but wasn't amazing sounds neutral to me.
I'll rate my movies how I damn well please
Also, Starship Troopers 3- poop/10
At the very least, it's a hell of a lot better than 2 and 3.

Now that's good stuff!
Undead (DVD, 1st viewing) – I’m usually pretty forgiving when it comes to low-budget, ultra campy horror films, but this didn’t do much for me. It has some new ideas, but the action and practical effects are just awful. It’s a pass unless you’re a diehard zombie fan.
3/10
Sublime (DVD, 1st viewing) – has an interesting premise and a strong start, but ultimately can’t decide if it wants to deliver a heavy handed message on the medical industry or just be a psychological horror/thriller. For a movie that at times attempts to be the latter, I found myself struggling to stay awake – not a good thing for a horror movie.
4/10
The Librarian: Quest for the Spear (DVD, 1st viewing) – another Indy clone, this one a T.V. movie from TNT. Noah Wyle is well cast as the 30 something with 22 college degrees, but who’s afraid of the big, bad world. He’s good, but everything else feels like a T.V. movie; the effects are horrendous, the other actors are bad, and it’s neutered down for a wide audience.
5/10
The Librarian: Return to King Solomon’s Mines (DVD, 1st viewing) – same deal as above, only a bit more brief since they didn’t have to introduce the characters. Again, Wyle is better than competent in the lead, but everything else is pretty bad. These aren’t terrible if you like the Indy clones, but don’t expect anything near on that level – the level of the Indy clones, not the Indy movies, obviously.
4/10
Date Night (DVD, 2nd viewing) – I’m a huge Carrell fan, and I also think Fey is pretty good. So when I watched this the first time, I was very disappointed by how little I liked it. I figured I’d give it another shot, and again, not too pleased with it. Carrell and Fey have good chemistry, and there’s a decent message buried in there, but it’s mostly just dumb. I did like the small cameos that Finchter, Kunis, Franco and Wahlberg had.
4/10
Jarhead (Blu-ray, 4th viewing) – as you can see, I’ve seen this movie quite a few times, but this if the first time in HD. Overall, I never fully understood how it didn’t catch on better. It’s a little long and slow at times, but the first 45 minutes are outstanding and Gyllenhall and the supporting cast are really good. For the people who were disappointed at the lack of action, what did you expect? It’s a movie about USMC Scout Snipers during the Gulf War.
7.5/10
Ghost Ship (Blu-ray, 1st viewing) – has more potential than it shows, but ultimately just slips into mediocrity. For a movie that’s pretty brief (around 85 minutes), they wasted far too much time early on. I mean they didn’t start getting killed off until halfway through the movie. Effective horror needs to have some buildup, but there was way too much time spent setting the stage in this, and not enough time on execution. I did think the ending was rather clever.
5.5/10
Con Air (Blu-ray, 1st viewing) – it’s one of the more memorable summer blockbusters from the 90s, featuring an all-star cast and enough explosions to make Michael Bay jealous. Overall, I think it’s good, dumb fun, and does a good job at what it sets out to do. There’s some pretty horrendous emotional elements thrown in there, and as with most movies of this type, it’s completely unnecessary.
6.5/10
Feast (Blu-ray, 1st viewing) – since watching Planet Terror, I’ve been meaning to check this out, as I loved Planet Terror and this is in a similar vein. I thought it was okay, and I’ll never complain too much about a movie that has Henry Rollins, but I was a little letdown. It’s campy to its core, there’s a lot blood, but not a lot of imagination. It does some good things, but it wasn’t what I wanted it to be.
5/10
Man Of Steel 9/10
Didn't like this as much as I thought I would. It's ok for modern horror but truthfully the best part was the cameo at the end of the credits. Good gore FWIW.
