scary movie out. I'd give it a 7/10.
Loved the action and movie references

star wars episode 2 8/10
Unlike most people I actually like the episodes 1, 2, and 3.
I watched that movie V/H/S a few of you guys were talking about a few pages back. Holy crap was that movie creepy!!!! My favorite short was the demon hotel chick. Overall I give a 4 out 5. Some of the shorts were meh...

I thought ep 2 was ok and I loved 3.
And hell yes that part of VHS was so great, I want a full movie about her! They should do a story about how she is a descendent of Lilith, Adam's first wife and the original succubus.
Definitely not as funny as I had hoped from the previews.
It's a pretty good comedy. The film stars Dax Shepard and his fiancée Kristen Bell, with Kristin Chenoweth, Tom Arnold, and Bradley Cooper

I love that movie. "Billy Bob, this mans holding up some fingers. True or false?" Uh.... True?"
I watched Seven Psychopaths the other day. 5/5

Honestly, I like them too. I'm really looking forward to the next ones as well!
Wreck it Ralph 8/10
I liked it a lot for a kids movie! It's got a neat story and the nostalgia factor is through the roof! It's worth a watch, especially for older gamers like myself!
The Three Musketeers – big, loud and stupid pretty much sum up this unnecessary entry in the beloved character’s film history. It’s a shame they couldn’t do better, because the film is absolutely brimming over with talent. Paul W.S Anderson needs to stick to the mindless zombie flicks, he gets those reasonably right.
4/10
The Next Three Days – much like The Three Musketeers, we have another movie with a lot of wasted potential. I expected more from Paul Haggis; I thought In the Valley of Elah was good, and Crash was great. Despite the strong performances from Crowe and Banks, it’s just an implausible, forgettable thriller. I thought it felt A LOT like the late Tony Scott’s films – passes the time well enough, but lacking any emotional resonance.
6/10
Rendition – very good movie, definitely watch this if you’re into Zero Dark Thirty. I think it’ll make you stop and thing about how much ambiguity you would allow when interrogating a potential terrorist, or at least that’s what I took from it. Overall, I think it’s an intelligent thriller with a bunch of good stories going on throughout. If you decide to watch it, pay close attention to the chronology of the stories; they throw you for a nice little loop towards the end. If you like the format of Babel, Crash, and Syriana, it also gets a definite recommendation.
7.5/10
The Lincoln Lawyer – I’m not normally into this kind of movie, but I enjoyed it. I always seem to be one of those guys knocking Mcconaughey, but he always turns in solid performances; maybe I just have a problem with some of his movie choices. Anyway, pretty good court room drama, with some nice little twists thrown in for good measure. I may have to look into this series of novels. My dad has read the book, and he says this is a pretty faithful adaptation.
7/10
Perks of Being a Wallflower – kind of surprised I liked this as much as I did. I’m not a fan of romantic movies, but the cast piqued my interest, and they delivered. Like 99% of the guys my age, I’ve got a crush on Emma Watson, and this served to only stoke that flame. Anyway, good acting from Lerman, too, and just a good movie overall. It was never overly sappy and you really begin to care about Charlie. It’s a good movie, give it a chance.
6.5/10
Rushmore – not my favorite Wes Anderson film, but still pretty good nonetheless. In most all of his movies, there’s one actor that takes the cakes and just blows it wide open. In this movie, it was definitely Bill Murray – he was amazing. If you’re a fan of him, you owe it to yourself to watch this. This is a very awkward movie, so be prepared for that, too.
6/10
The Royal Tenenbaums – having recently watched Moonrise Kingdom, and Rushmore the day before, I decided to watch Wes Anderson’s most popular film. Hackman was deserving of the Golden Globe, and the rest of the cast is spot on. I do find it disturbing that in this movie Luke Wilson’s character attempts to commit suicide, and in real life Owen Wilson attempted suicide. I’ve been kicking myself for waiting so long to watch it.
8/10
Poseidon (remake) – not too bad, plays out a lot like a more serious (slightly), Final Destination. It’s a little too full of clichés to be very good, and there’s never really any sense of dread. Some of the special effects were pretty solid; and like the FD series, watching some of the victims get killed was fun, as sadistic as that sounds.
