Some of note:
Looper - wow, very impressed by this movie. Very original concept, and the acting was on point from beginning to end. With the exception of one VERY cheesy action scene, everything seemed very real. The TK stuff was a nice touch.

Full Metal Jacket - I've always been fascinated by the military, and more specifically the training phase. The first half of this completely nails Marine boot. The second half of the movie is good, but really falls short of the first half. R.Lee turned in a very memorable role here.

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows - not quite as good as the first, but still really good. Downey and Law make a great pair again, and the humor of the first is here, too. I didn't find the plot as compelling, and I would have liked more focus on certain characters.

I loved this movie.

Gangster Squad - It was really good acting with a great cast and awesome action I loved it 5/5.
TMNT Original Movie - Never really payed attention to it when I was younger and it was awesome 4/5.
Batman Dark Knight Returns Pt.1 - I loved what Frank Miller did can't wait to see pt.2 4.5/5.
Dredd - Heard it was pretty good and had a free redbox rental and I must say this was definitely worth a watch and I actually liked it 4/5.

Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol - by far the best in the series. It fully embraces what works about the series - action - and leaves out the hokey emotional elements that the others tried to throw in there. This also served to further my already strong thoughts on Renner: great in a secondary role, but not a lead man.

The Wolfman - very strange movie, not at all what I expected. For a movie that was made for the masses, it's surprisingly campy. I thought that while it was a little light on suspense, and there was almost no characterization, there were some very impressive visuals and violence.
