I liked it a lot but not quite as much as the first one.

This movie had very few funny moments and overall was just boring. Not only did it lack real substance, it didn't even have the shock value or aggressive absurdity Sacha Baron Cohen is known for. I feel like Borat is his best achievement and his output has become less entertaining with each film/character since then. Anna Faris' part was well done but not enough to carry the film.
The "unrated & banned" DVD/BD version may be more entertaining but I was too bored with the character and story from the theatrical version to bother watching it.

I love you!
Moonrise Kingdom 3/5. The ever brilliant Wes Anderson delivers again. A solid, quirky tale that delivers on every emotional level in human kind. The first half of the movie is rather slow. Brilliant performances from Bill Murray and Edward Norton. Not the Best Wes film, but certainly better than his Mr. Fox adaptation.
great movie
not good for the little kids
a couple family guy easter eggs in ther

I liked Mr. Fox a lot. Definitely more than Darjeeling. Rushmore and Royal Tenenbaums will always be may favorites. I'm still pissed that our local Cinemark never got Moonrise Kingdom. The closest theater that had it was 45 minutes away.
Don't listen to mr nicktoon movies a couple posts up
Also saw the Campaign and it was pretty meh, like a 6/10, all the funny parts are shown in the previews yet again.

Don't get me wrong, I liked it too. But personally, I think Kingdom is better. and Tenenbaums will ALWAYS be my favorite, but I understand that The Life Aquatic is HIS BEST work. period. and Darjeeling is vastly underrated. Anderson is like Nolan, they haven't made a bad film yet, but when you start comparing them to one another you start to see good films as bad ones.
I wouldve been driving anyways. I never miss a Nolan, Spielberg, Anderson, or Fincher film in theaters
