usually you can renew a little earlier then when the actual contract is up. but honestly most products are made now with a short life expectancy so you buy a new one instead of holding on to the older products.

Yea my early upgrade (18 months) isn't until December.. And I got kids and shit, so I just can't afford to go buy the new stuff every time. It sucks..
I could try eBay, but Craigslist is all stolen phones that people are trying to flip. Whenever I want to meet up at the phone store to check the sim, they bail.
