What grinds my gears - Leaving my console on overnight boosting Team Death Match games on Gears 3. I am not too sure what my power bill is going to look like when this game is complete.

I always wonder how much electricity small/mid size electronics draw. In the winter, I cut the central heat off and just let my Xbox run in my room. It's in an open space, but that thing generates some serious warmth.

I've established in our household our electronics (Xbox 360s, TVs, computers and charging portable devices) raise our bill between 50-60 every month. Running the air or heat raises it another $150, so the games are a drop in the bucket at this point.

You all should invest in some really long extension cords and a couple of surge protectors. Then plug those cords into your neighbors exterior outlets. You'll save a ton of money on your electric bill.
