Random disconnects from Xbox Live. Then it takes me over 20 mins to reconnect. 2 of my achievements on Batman Arkham City don't have time stamps because of that.
Also waking up after sleeping on your arm/shoulder wrong. Feels like someone hit me with a baseball bat as hard as they could. Been using a heating pad and muscle rub all day but it feels worse now than ever.

My dog died this morning. He was 9 years old. He would've 10 in January. He got sick over the weekend. I took him to the vet at the beginning of the week. They said he had pancreatitis. He started to get better until this morning when it turned for the worst.

Next time you do this, set your online status to 'Busy' under preferences. It will disable most misc pop-ups including friend sign-ons, but Achievements should still show up.
This is what I do when going for a difficult achievement or playing something intense like a fighting game.
I still blame losses on pop-ups though
