I do have a card on my account... Or did. They won't tell me if it was used or not! I wrote customer service, who said I must have been phished (I wasn't) and told me they can't give refunds for what was purchased, my credit card company would have to. I know they bought in game currency (which doesn't come up in my purchase history) all I want to know is if they bought it with my card or the one they put on my account. But they won't give me answers, unfortunately. I have to wait until it hits my account and overdraws me, I guess.
Get in touch with your credit card company and explain the situation to them - they will help!!! It sounds like Apple is being rather evasive about the whole situation which makes me wonder about the hack itself.
Yeah, that sounds sketchy. Call your card ASAP and tell them what's up. Also, ask them to issue you a new one with new numbers too. I've had to do this and it's annoying but totally worth it.

My bank charges $6 for a new card, so this is a major hassle, lol. I don't think they charged anything to my account, because I am not allowed to download anything... It says there's a problem with my last purchase and they need a new card. I ripped into Rupeesh, my friendly script copy/paster, and I feel a little better...

Thank you for your reply. Nothing was purchased through the iTunes store, to the best of my knowledge. Here is my problem, and I need you to understand what I'm saying. Using the iphone app store, In-game currency was purchased by someone using my account- for a game I've never heard of before. They also changed my credit card information to a card that was not mine. I don't know if they used my card at all, or used the card they put on my account and I have no way of checking that. However, right now the app store is not allowing me to download even FREE apps, It keeps saying that there is a problem with a purchase and I need to register a credit card. I DON'T WANT TO REGISTER A CREDIT CARD, UNTIL YOU CLEAR UP THE UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES ON MY ACCOUNT. YOU ARE JUST GOING TO TURN AROUND AND CHARGE MY ACCOUNT FOR THOSE PURCHASES THAT I DID NOT MAKE. I just want to be able to download free apps, and now I'm unable to do so.
I need to know what charges were charged to what credit card, and how you people at are going to rectify this situation on your end. I am not going to allow fraudulent charges to be charged to my account just so my bank can dispute it and you can refund my money in a few weeks. That is stupid and inefficient. Who actually agrees to that???? If you cannot help me, please let me know who can.
Fuckers.

I can't stand the fact that in order for me to complete Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, I have to spend 1200 MSP on a different game... Just to get a freakin 0 GS achievement.

This site is grinding my gears.
At least twice a day I click on this site in my favorites and I get a blank page. Won't load anything at all. I've tried clearing my cache files, typing the address in instead of clicking it in my favorites. I've tried different browsers and nothing. It will be a blank page for at least 20-30 minutes and I just have to wait it out. It does it on my laptop too, so I don't know what the problem is.

My 360 is grinding my gears. I played it all day yesterday and the day before, no problems. Today I went and picked up Black Ops and played it for a few hours. Now I can't play it more than 5 minutes before it shuts off and I get 2 red rings from overheating. It's still cold when I put my hand on the console. I've swapped out the power supply to see if that would help and no it still does it. I even put a desk fan to the side of it blowing into the little holes and that doesn't work either.
What sucks is that I just went out and bought a 120GB hard drive, headset, 3 months of gold and 7 games only to have a brick sitting next to my TV. I have $0 left to even think about getting another system.

that sucks man, if you end up buying another 360 in the future and it's from gamestop get the year protection plan, for like 20 bucks they will take it back within a full year if something like this happens, even on used systems i know cuz i have had, used and returned like 5 old 360 this way, it's great if you have o cash and the system craps the bed.did you have a ms warranty on it
