So this is an unpopular opinion: when I was home for Thanksgiving break, I took back my old PS1 and Sega Saturn. Comparing the two in 2013, I'm having a lot more fun with the Saturn. It has a cartridge slot that holds an (infinite) amount of save games. Whereas the PS1 I had a dozen memory cards. And I just learned thanks to the internet, that using that cartridge slot makes the system region-free. So I've began importing off eBAY, for ridiculous prices, like $3 for Shining Force III (japan), whereas the US version is $100. Yes, you have to know a little Japanese, but the Saturn had a lot going for it. Yesterday played (the original) Grandia on Saturn (import for $4.99), and I think it's better than the PS1 version. Saturn can't do polygons? There's next to no load times, full voice acting like Final Fantasy X on PS2, and a cool battle system. It only took me 11 years to figure out that Interact Memory Cartridge could've opened up all the imports
