didn't say anything about the comic
it was by far the best MOVIE. x1-3 had
horrible acting from a good majority of the people
If you say Patrick Stewart I.will.cut.you.

The acting was great in First Class. Those two guys as Xavier and Magneto were really entertaining to watch. I didn't like the action or overall story much but those two did some great character stuff.
Looking back, I enjoyed some aspects of each of the X films mentioned but to me none of them were great, all fell short of what "could have been."
For my time and money, the animated features have been more enjoyable so far. Stuff like Thor & Wolverine vs Hulk, Dr Strange, the animated Avengers movie.

that's why I said a good majority and not all
because there were some decent performances

I didn't read the comics, I watched the old cartoon and the movies and that's my Marvel experience. So from my perspective, the movies are quite excellent and you all are persnickety dbags.
I'm going to see The Wolverine tomorrow night, too.

I'm going to see it at the drive in, so there won't be crowds, I hope.

I don't have any of those by me

Do drive ins still just give you a speaker to put in your window? It would annoy me paying "theater" price and going to see a movie with just a single shitty speaker. Half the reason I go to see a movie instead of renting/downloading it is because of the big boomy 7.2 sound field.

@mudkip, it's in the middle of Alabama, so hopefully it doesn't get crowded. I've only been there once before and it wasn't crowded at all, but nothing was opening.
@meta, they do digital sound through the car radio at this place. The sound isn't too bad, but it depends on your car.

The other unpopular opinion would be that you found X-Men 3 enjoyable enough to rate it a 9/10.
I was similarly awestruck when he rated Drive 2/10 and Grown Ups 2 10/10. That's pretty much the opposite end of the spectrum for me.
Anyway IMO Skyfall was way better then Quantum of Solace. I'd rank it among one of the best Bond films to date...
Casino Royale all the fucking way

I don't really follow comic books, I think that's why I like the movies so much. I'm not scrutinizing every last scene on how close it was to the comic. I just really like the origin story on Magneto in First Class and Last Stand just has a cool overall story to me.

@Kat Well that works out for ya then. Let us know how The Wolverine is, I'm kinda looking forward to it. Just not sure how it'll go after Origins.
@Meta Many Drive Ins nowadays are transferring to Digital film and sound. They're also a lot cheaper than indoor movie theaters ticket price wise. At least the one I worked at is. Especially since you get to see two movies instead of one.
Yesss!! $15 a carload for 2 first run movies!!! And the concessions are cheaper too!!!
