Looks like Rise of Nightmares meets Silent Hill.

Thats a shame to delay it. I have no interest in this game anymore with it releasing the same month as dragon age.

It's getting put in between games like batman on the 14th and assassins creed most likely on the 28th. Who is going to buy this to make it perform well in October vs august?

I like dragon age and that's my first pick, but no interest in batman or yet another assassins creed.
Sidenote- remember when assassins creed was relevant? And cool?
Thief reminded me I don't like survival horror because I'm literally sitting there with my heart pounding even during the credits- I'm wayy too tightly wound- but still, evil within should have a respectable showing.

Dragon Age is something I have been looking forward to for a long time now, and unless they fuck it up royally the only other title that will even come close to me for a long time on XB1 will be Witcher 3.
I do have to agree about Batman and AssCreed though. I only really liked the first Bats game, Arkham Asylum, and it seems to me that even fans of the whole trilogy aren't nearly as invested still, and Arkham Knight may come and go without much hullabaloo.
AssCreed is a series I have enjoyed a lot. 2 and 4 were some of my favourite gaming moments on 360 and XB1 respectively, but even as a fan I am not eagerly anticipating this next one. Rather, I am sitting back and waiting to read post-release reviews and watch videos, and if it seems really great then I might buy it later when the price drops.
Now, as far as Evil Within, I am also hoping that it will cause some sort of revival in the classical survival-horror genre, perhaps the same as what Street Fighter 4 did for the fighting game scene. I have no doubt, though, that even if it does cause Crapcom to return RE to form, they will still find a way to shit the bed. They always do.
