Edit: Apparently co-op is not as far fetched as I believed. The devs had it in mind from the start but left it out due to memory constraints. This game is the second fastest selling arcade title and if it continues expect some interesting DLC. I just don't see how multiplayer would mesh with the current set up.
Yeah. They've already stated that is State of Decay does well, which it has, then they might reinstate the co-op feature as a DLC. They want to add it so they can use it as a guide for Class 4 (the MMO).

Tip: After you reach the church base, locate the unfinished house at the end of your driveway, below the gas station. It provides essential building supplies to get your workshop and sleeping quarters started. After looting it and killing the zombies in the area. Make it your first outpost as it's close proximity to your base makes it a fine candidate to set traps and protect from hordes.
Edit: Outposts are not properly explained and are vital to your fledgling empire. Zombies do not spawn in the area under it's control, and you can set up defenses against wandering hordes. They also increase your runners success %'s and provide access to storage. With some clever placements you can make some of the better HQ's extremely safe.

Yes they are pretty awesome around hordes when the traps are reset... the best Home I have found is the blue warehouse in Marshall you drop someone off in front of it later in the story it has a nice set up with supplies everywhere around it.
Edit: It helps when you change bases to abandon the outposts that surrounded your old base and move them to your new one.

Yeah the blue warehouse is the best "Long term" base and has much lower costs to move there compared to other homes if I remember correctly.

I think it actually costs a bit more, I think 12 people and 50 materials compared to 8 people and 30 materials at other houses but it was worth it... It has a lot more space to build and an extra parking spot for cars.

It has no reputation requirement though right?

I think just 100 rep to relocate you home base same as everywhere else and that is it.

How many characters did you burn through completing it? I have lost 2 so far.

I lost 2 only for the achievements, 4 if you count the guys that die as a part of the black fever. I mainly played as Maya my first playthrough but didn't unlock my complete 50 missions achievement with her, and had to use Marcus to get it on my second about halfway through.

Maya is a badass. I'm mainly just sticking to one person till they patch it. No sense in leveling up everyone only for them to die in the sim.

played a few missions last night, little confused as to what to do (just got to church) anyone have tips and pointers? the missions aren't very specific and the achievements seem weird.

Ahhh feels good to be back on XBAmerica. This is an amazing game. I'm on my 4th plays through although I only beat it once I still managed to get very far in the other 2 playthroughs. Now I'm back in Marshall at the trucking company. One of the best zombie games I've ever played. I can't wait until undead labs come out with the Class 4 MMO zombie game.

The missions appear on the upper right corner of the screen. In order to view more info on it, open your journal, go to the tab that looks like a book and look for the mission you want info on. You can also check on the map to see where the mission is and you can just go to there and accept the mission.

It has very straightforward story missions. But like any sandbox game your going to have to explore what else has to offer. The first things your going to need to do is climb the cell tower in town, do the medicine mission. Get some building supplies to upgrade your base and save the first group of survivors that ask to join you. After that you should get the mission to save Lilly's brother.

the game is pretty addictive so far. should be an easy 400/400.
