I like it. Different take on the genre. Building up your base, recruiting people, exploring and making tough choices. It's called survival horror for a reason. Just wish it was a full title with a good budget rather than a arcade tease.

I thought that the game had co-op. Well, never mind. Maybe when it hits sale status...

Not sure how they would pull that off considering how much it's like "The Sims".

Budget graphics and voice acting as well. I'd probably give it a 7/10 right now as the gameplay is great.

I watched my brother playing it earlier and it didn't look bad at all, he was having more fun just randomly wandering around than he was doing the missions, it was just the trial though.

You really should be able to create your own character considering most of the NPC's are randomly generated. It's kind of a no brainer. You also do most missions solo which makes no sense from a realistic standpoint. What ever happened to the buddy system? Although having some NPC not going into stealth mode correctly and getting you eaten may be a blessing in disguise.
Edit: There are also some known frame rate issues right now. (Try driving) Expect a patch soon.
Edit: Also FYI time passes when your offline. This cuts down on construction and injury times. Eventually the clock stops if your gone long enough so if you left things is decent shape you won't come back to a train wreck. You can bypass this by playing offline and manually setting the date if it freaks you out too much. Random survivors can die if you leave the game with low morale and supplies and not play for a few days.

It's so you don't have to wait around spinning your wheels while your builds finish. The main premise is survival and the game makes you pay for poor micromanagement. This is the one aspect that is not for everyone. Poorly lead your group and survivors will bail on you when you go to bed

There's details on a patch coming this week? on TA, and the time passing while offline thing does not sound like something that I'd enjoy in any capacity, especially if it can fuck you over, that's stupid as hell.
The details of the patch are out and can be found here: http://forums.undeadlabs.com/showthread.php?18672-Title-Update-1-submitted.

Downloaded the demo for now, almost 2 GBs...
That's a big download. I might have to wait for a disc. Looks addictive.

There isn't going to be a disc version of the game for a while, if at all. But, then again, Telltale's the Walking Dead got one, so there is a chance.
