Make sure you register your Mario Kart 8 game on Club Nintendo:

To get your free game. You only have until June 30th, I think. Since you already got Mario U, you can pick between Zelda Wind Waker HD, Pikmin 3, or Wii party U, and you get a download code. I went with Zelda, looks pretty good. I also really recommend the NES Remix games, on the eSHOP.

I have been reading a lot of articles about divorce recently and it's crazy how much the information varies. One item that each article has in common is they have all stated 'the person who you are being divorced from is different than the person you married.' That statement was a bit of an eye opener and it's also the truth. Until I read that, I thought it was just my observations.

Well that's kind of a "duhh" moment. Unless you're a kardashian, marriages last years and people change over the years lol. 
But actually, in my case it wasn't true. I've been divorced twice and both times, I divorced exactly who I married. I just was honest about who they were and stopped blaming myself for what was happening. If they got progressively worse, I couldn't say exactly, but they were still the same people deep down.
I wonder if it's different depending on if you're the leaver or if you're the one getting left.

I went with Zelda too. I have a good friend who is a Zelda fanatic and WW is his favourite after Link to the Past, so I'm looking forward to trying it.

I am the one 'getting left' and even the kids are telling me that their mother has been a different person over the last few months.
