Hopefully it doesn't freeze up like the PS3/Xbox 360 version. I still can't get past the 4th level without it going black screen during level transition.

I don't remember freezing issues with my 360 copy... Possibly the only flaw I didn't find.

The Mario Kart 8 WiiU bundle has me intrigued. You get the deluxe system, with Mario Kart 8, a Wii Remote Plus, a red Wheel, and a download game of your choice (Mario U, Zelda U, Pikmin, or Nintendoland), for ~$300. I never owned a Wii, so also the backwards compatibility (made better since I get a ~$40 Wii Remote Plus for free), makes me consider it. The release date is May 30th, so I have a few weeks to think about it. Any opinions are welcome.

I see what you're saying but that bundle is just New Mario U and New Luigi U (basically the same game), for $289. For $329, it's the $59 Mario Kart 8, (I'd get) the $45 Zelda, and a $39 wii remote plus. I could do without the mario kart wheel, but it's in there.
Since Elder Scrolls isn't coming, the only game I have any interest in buying over the next 5+ months, is Watch Dogs. I figure I could play The Last Story (RPG), and some other wii backlogs (never owned a wii)... yeah there's only 5 or so games on Wii U right now worth playing. The fact that you'd get almost 1/2 of them for free, isn't bad. I'll probably get one eventually, just how sweet would the deal be, a year or two from now, versus this one. It really depends if I get another gig or two, from now until then, I think. $329 is a little more than the cost of my HOA each month (home owners' insurance), so depends how much income's coming in, at the time... those games could tide over until the fall/winter.
Speaking of that, for some reason Dragon Age costs $69? Why is it $10 more than every other game out there? (amazon). Why are they justifying paying $10 more? Hopefully just a placeholder, that's not even a special edition.
