I'd like to point out real quick while currently playing this game how BAD the AI is of both the drivers and the pedestrians. I've had people just blatantly swerve into me while drivin in a straight line numerous times and I've also seen quite a few pedestrians just randomly fall over on the sidewalk or walk right in front of me while driving or trying to turn, it's pretty annoying.

lol the driving thing always kills me especially when going for the achievement for driving 30mph for 5min
Hadnt had issues with pedestrians though.
Right now I am slowly getting the collectibles... After I 1k the game, I will give a thorough review on Mafia 2.

Ever try honking your horn dummy? I was cruisin' down the highway and just blasting my horn at any dishshit in my way and they just moved out of the way. It's almost just like the Godfather games in that respect.

Yeah, I'm only up to the middle of the 3rd chapter but I'm really diggin' it so far. I don't know if it's just me but the gameplay feels smoother than when I played the demo. It didn't take me long to adapt at all.

Did anyone else have trouble with the one cheevo for obtaining the gas ration stamps without raising the alarm? I get the key from the directors office (thankfully it saves there) and every time I opened the safe the alarm would go off. I tried numerous times just sneaking in or taking out all the guards first but it always went off.

It's because, you didn't turn the alarm off.
You get this mission once you meet Joe at the restaurant after you meet Derek. To not raise the alarm when you are going to get the ration stamps. You must go into the basement of the building and shut off the power to the alarm. You can stealth kill all 3 of the security guards fairly easily. Press B while behind a guard to stealth kill them. Start with the one the 2nd floor talking about his new TV. He is on the West side of the building. Then there is a guard that patrols the East Side near the Directors office. Kill him on the stairs, then sneak up behind the guard behind the security desk in the lobby.

I'm in Ch 7 and I have to say, it really is fun and engrossing.
The visuals are spectacular, I frackin loved the 40's setting.
So far this has turned out to be far better than I was anticipating, and I really like the way the story is handled. I enjoyed Godfather 2 but it was somewhat cartoonish compared to this.
