I've been enjoying this game by proxy, I love refreshing the "community" tab to see new stuff. IRiSH's domiciles blow me away!
The quick snapshot/game dvr functionality of the xboner was MADE for stuff like this! Too good
Wait... What? You don't have this game?

I should really get back to this game but I can't get into it the way I have in the past with other Bethesda titles. I bought the Fallout 4 bundle Xbox One just to play this game yet, I don't like Fallout 4 the way I loved Oblivion and Skyrim. Very confusing. Why did I spend this $$ again??

You're not alone- Evol is the exact same way. He loves the shit of of Skyrim and Oblivion, but can't force himself to play fallout. I think the reason has something to do with why I love new Vegas more than either Bethesda entry. I'm not sure exactly what it is though.

For me it's really about the atmosphere. If an open world game doesn't enthrall me with its setting, assets, and presentation etc. I have a hard time pouring countless hours into it. It's why the witcher or dark souls don't interest me because I simply don't find the world they take place in to be interesting. Although with Witcher 2s new backwards compat I may give it a real second try.

The Witcher 2 is such an incredible story, there are so many layers and levels in it, it is and will always be my favorite example of story telling in a video game. 3 is good as well, and a better game- mechanics-wise, but 2 was a masterpiece.
That said, I can see why it wouldn't draw people in. It's a really dark story and the politics can get boring.

Also the difficulty spikes early, but yeah Boyz give it another try. It gets better and easier as you go.

Don't hate me, but I just had the cheevo for 100% happiness pop out of the blue. I had to load a previous save shortly thereafter and I check my settlement stats and Hangmans Alley was at 99% with only 2 people, 13 food, 4 water, 0 defense, 12 beds. I must've missed an attack because there's usually 12 people there.

Ah, I see. That was the update I went through this morning then. I thought there was another on the way.
