I played this on PC for awhile and enjoyed it a lot even though I had to run it on minimum settings. It was a friend's laptop anyway.

I have a 360 copy pre-ordered, can't wait to get back in to it. I never did beat the second difficulty level, Hell I think?

I had one of each character and they were all really fun. Barbarian and Witch Doctor were my favourites.

I pre-ordered my copy at GameStop, I gotta find out about this $10 off thing.

it's also 10 dollars off on amazon right now

haha I was about to say "wow you had to run it at shit settings on a friend's laptop too?" then I realized all your post quotes lately don't display correctly.

I watched my roommate play Diablo 3 at high resolution with everything maxed on his tv, it's a good-looking game like that.

At low res and minimum settings it looks and runs like a bad warcraft 3 mod. :no:

I may end up getting this for the xbox. I still play it from time to time on my laptop. I have several high level characters. I'm interested in seeing how the achievements for the game are and if they are anything like some of the achievements in the pc version.

I played the first diablo on the original Playstation and it was so great using a controller instead of mouse & keyboard.

Pretty much the whole time I was playing Diablo 2, I was thinking to myself "man I wish this was on PS2 or Xbox."

I have already played through D3 several times with different people & solo but I am still looking forward to the 360 version because controllers and Achievements.

I might even finally finish the 2nd difficulty and move on to the third one.

Did anyone else find the wizard class underwhelming?

The entire game was a bit underwhelming the first time around. It does however fit a nice little niche on console.

The wizard is one of my high level characters on pc. The character is really good if you have the right skills set. But by far my favorite character, and my highest level character, is my demon hunter.

Why do you guys enjoy the demon hunter so much? I admit I never got mine high leveled but she seemed almost as blah as the wizard.

What powers/weapon combo did you guys use and how did you tune your other stuff?

Like for instance, I had my Barbarian setup to where one stance/set is all crowd-control, multi-hit moves and lifesteal and I used this when joining random online parties, I would use whirlwind to aggro most of the monsters that way everyone else could focus on damaging the leader/boss.

Then I had a setup for ground & pound where all the damage was focused right in front of my character, I used this when playing alone/Hardcore mode.

Which, btw, Hard Core mode truly is hard core and sadly, I am not. I had a freaking awesome female monk that had an unfortunate run in with those stupid rotating laser line traps. RIP you sexy bad bitch.

traps and the abilities made demon hunter a lot of fun to play, especially if you had a barb to tank with you. you were just dealing major dps from a distance and setting up traps in case you drew aggro.

I don't remember my abilities set up atm, but it was a fun combo to run with.

i wonder if the Barbarian will be just as broken on this version as it is on the computer. Blizzard loves the shit out of Barbarians for some reason.
