Now Im going to do it on easy with out vita chambers and few other achievement.

Had a blast earlier tonight with the MP event I set up. Shock and Joe showed up along with a number of new guys like charlesheard64, ZYM0T1C, ScarlettScarab, Vend3tta Ins4ne and CHASE1494. Hit me anytime you guys wanna play. That goes for the rest of you Splicers out there too! I'm about to get back on in a few here.

I got done with my playthrough this morning on easy. 740 points without any of the multiplayer achievements. I missed an upgrade station, so I'll have to make sure I get them all on my hard playthrough!
I really liked this game! I think the story wasn't as WTF as the first, but it was great in a different way. The end started to drag a little, but not unbearably.
I think the enemies are a bit tougher compared to the first, but on easy there should be no difficulty getting the no Vita-Chambers achievement.
All in all, I was a little bit afraid of a sequel letdown, but I am happy with this game!

Did u end up getting 100 audio diaries too? I think i only managed about 50 o so. So itll have to get those on my hard playthrough as well as all the power to the people stations

Yes. It was close! The achievement popped in a place where there was only 1 more diary in the game. lol I think there are like 130 or something.

Ya there is 128, same thing happened for me with the "hack 30 machines from a distance", I got that achievement with the last possible thing there was to hack.

Fuckin Krueger and his Houdini act! I still had a blast. I still haven't decided what my favorite gun is yet but I crack up every time I nail someone with a geyser trap.
i swear... i hate that houdini shit lol.
but yeah man it was still awesome. serving someone with the trap is epic but i still can't bring myself to change my loadout. the ice pistol combo gets me the 20th kill quite often. i've been mixing it up a bit though, and i think all the stun plasmids + pistol should work well. just today i got my 30 swarms.

I think my reaction to the game was similar to a lot of people. I loved it, I truly needed more Rapture in my life, but... it's hard to capture the wonder and amazement I felt the first time I took the sphere down to the dark, murky depths to view the decaying masterpiece of Rapture. The city is spectacular, the atmosphere is astounding, but I can't bring myself to love it as much as I did the first one. Don't get me wrong, the game is still top of the line, one of the top so far this year; in fact, I'm sure I'll be playing it through multiple times.
Haven't played MP yet, but the more I read about it, the better it's starting to sound.

Well said, man! I finally got around to finishing the first game and doing the misc stuff this morning and Rapture really is a hell of a spectacle. The way the city is tied to the entire narrative and gameplay is awesome.
From what I've read, I think they played it pretty safe with the sequel, adding small things here and there, increasing the good and changing the bad, and I agree there's probably no way they could have captured the same spirit again because the first is such a novel mindjob. I am glad that people like you and others who really enjoyed the first game are still speaking well of the sequel, that's a good sign.
It would have been easy for them to screw things up, I'm glad they didn't!

anyone have any trouble getting in the MP today?
krueger and i played earlier, and there was some freezing, but now jen can't get in at all.
the game told her to check her internet connection or something.
we're getting a little snow out here but our internet is still working just fine.

Yeah all of the online servers were down earlier today. MW2 wasn't working, the BFBC2 demo wasn't working, BS2 Online wasn't working, but now it's OK. Just played a few games, ranked up to 16

i've been stuck at 29 for about 5 or 6 games though. you really need a ton of ADAM for 30.
