MP is starting to grind on me a bit now. I loved it at first, but I guess now that I'm concentrating so hard on leveling up all the little things are bothering me. Like Houdini and turrets.

i agree aidan. i HATE houdini.
lately i've been using the shock/elephant gun combo. it's really not too bad!
and thanks for the info, irish. researching on easy should be a BREEZE now.
Yeah, Houdini's been grinding my gears too. I do love when I hit one with Incinerate while they're invisible though.

Just wanted to let those few who had checked maybe for my event tonight that I had to cancel. Something came up and I'm not sure if I'll be able to get on at 8 o'clock but I should be on late if anyone just wants to party up and play.

i'm not sure when jen will pass out but one of us is likely to be playing late tonight.
whenever you get on just invite me/her if you still want to play.
and yes, hitting a houdini with fire is classic.
you know what surprises me?
Spoiler: Click here to toggle spoileri beat the game the "good way" and got the achievement for letting everyone live. at that point i had 3 more achievements left, one of them being secret. i just assumed it was for killing everyone. well my buddy from work told me that there's an achievement called "9 irony" and he explained how to do it. i thought he was just joking at first but when i got to that point again on my evil run i tried it and that really was the secret cheevo! lol. so yeah, it surprises me there's no evil achievement...

Yeah I finished my 3rd run-thru last night. I had to get the 600 Adam, no Vita-Chambers and Savior chievos. Finishing it off with the good ending so I got to see three different endings.

Harvested them all on my first run-thru and I too missed not having a chievo for that. Maybe if they didn't have so many MP chievos. 
In my second run-thru I only harvest 3 or 4 of em and at the end of the game they give ya the option for which ending you want by either sacrificing yourself or living. Got the savior ending on my last run-thru. I personally kinda liked the dark and stormy ending. "9 Irony" was classic. Evol had mentioned it earlier in the thread so I got it on my second run-thru.

hahaha well irish i hit 40 tonight. took about 21 hours and i'm apparently a very average player. my K/D is about 1.00. just about even. not too hard to get there, depending on the games you play i suppose.
i don't know how my research run is going though. i took your advice and i'm freezing everyone and fucking them up with the drill. i'm getting alot of B's even though i'm not taking any damage. makes me nervous, but i'll keep at it for the time being.

Shit, I'm only up to level 23 and my K/D ratio is pathetic. Last time I checked it was hovering around 0.79 
What bugs me more is my win/loss was like 19-58. 
I can't decide what my favorite combo is so I keep three different setups. I'm still working on finishing the easy weapon trials so I mix it up a lot though I admit I have zero kills with the crossbow. That thing sucks.

I think its a good game overall. Campaign kept a good pace and MP is a little boring after a while, especially after it constantly freezes in the lobby and connections are always shitty. Maybe im the only one but between every 2-3 games online my xbox freezes, only with bioshock 2 though

alright, i just 1Kd this bad boy, finishing off my evil run.
Spoiler: Click here to toggle spoilerbioshock 2 really is an amazing game. the story didn't hook me as much as the first game's, but it was still a great experience. playing as the big daddy was so much fun, and i'm glad i played on hard first. every time i heard those big sisters coming sent a wave of fear through me! other than that, sadly, the game wasn't freaky at all.
as far as changes and improvements, i love the new hacking mini game. much easier and faster. the researching, however, seemed cooler at first but ended up being more of a chore, in my opinion. i didn't care for it.
walking around on the ocean floor and through flooded areas was an awesome touch as well, but i was disappointed with the overall level design. the levels in bioshock 1 (especially arcadia and fort frolick) were just so much cooler.
as far as the endings, they were both great, but i loved the evil one. wowza.
now i go back to the MP, which is glitchy as hell at times but still a blast! lol.

Hellz yeah I got legit! I could never find enough people to boost it. It was hilarious cause another guy on my team grabbed the little brat and carried her all the way to the vent and then we spent the next two minutes trying to get her into it. I died three times trying to get her into the vent and then finally got it. It happened again the next round when my team was defending her. I kept putting electrified geyser traps right on the wall under the vent and they were blasting guys across the room. I was bustin' a gut!
