I don't know how this game looked on 360, but it looks absolutely amazing on Xbox One. Good story so far & nice visuals. Glad I waited to pick it up.

It looks good on the 360, but then again, I really don't care too much on the graphics of games since I started playing when games were 8- and 16-bit. I am more interested in the storyline of the games which I'm really enjoying with this game.

I just picked it up and honestly I'm a bit dissapponted with the graphics. But more so I've only played for about 15 minutes and my minds already so blown. Should I be going back and looking at liberation or something?

I found the graphics exceptional. Especially the Ocean.

The basic idea is that the previous 3 Assassin's Creed games and their sequels had you playing as Desmond Miles in the "now" part of the gameplay.
The big shift is that now you are playing in first-person mode as some employee of the Templar-owned Abstergo Entertainment.
One of the gimmicks of Assassin's Creed stuff is that they play meta-games with popular history. You oughta consult the online wikipedia to get in to the whole story, it's pretty cool.
Then again, coming at Henway with no previous bias is cool too, maybe ye shouldn't read any internets stuff until you've finished the story.

Same here. This is by far the best looking, performing, feeling and flowing video game water I've ever seen, and I haven't even seen the xboner version.

My confusion is largely just about the Abstergo thing. I've played all the other games besides Liberation, but they keep mentioning it and now i feel like i need to play it or at least read up on it now. I know the whole deal with being uploaded to the cloud and Desmond's dead and yada yada. i'll read into it more when i finish the story i suppose

I thought GTA V's water was the best I've seen. No one has let me borrow this so I can't compare the two.

The water is much better on AC IV. Overall it's a fairly close comparison though.

I'm honestly just really disappointed by the lack of creative environment (besides the ocean obviously). The original games had so many unique environments with crazy things to climb that actually required a skill to conquer. But recently that's all been reduced to trees, trees, wooden pieces of crap, and more of the exact same, unrealistically bent over trees. I miss the good old days of massive buildings that took 15 minutes to climb to the top

Yea where did the unrealistic bent trees come from...

That's actually very realistic. Palm trees often bend and contort so their leaves will get light from sun rays.

Fair enough. I also take back what I said about lack of creative climbing environments

to be fair though, they didn't build many large buildings on the islands due to hurricanes since it was primarily out of wood and stuff.
