I think if you buy the Season Pass for 360 it also applies it to your xboner version?

I held out for the Xbox One version. With Watch Dogs gone, Assassin's Creed IV is actually the title I'm most looking forward to getting into this Friday. I know it's a small jump in visuals compared to current-gen, but out of everything- it's something I know going in, that it's a sure-bet.

Going to discover all locations and then return this bad boy. I got all the Mayan stelae and made the hunter suit, but the other misc activities will have to wait till the ONE.
And yeah the visual difference will be interesting because this game already looks terrific and has the best video game water I've ever encountered.
If nothing else, the XBONE should be able to run this at true 1080p with anti-aliasing and have better shadows.

Well piracy was doomed to fail and Edward dies shorty afterwards himself to set up Haytham getting raised by and joining the templars. But I get your point. They do tend to kill the best characters but not wipe the slate clean. No ACIV spin-offs.

Edward finds out his friend Birch is a Templar. Birch storms his estate with templars to kill Edward, he sells his daughter into slavery, keeps Haytham (Because of his training) and raises him to be a assassin killer. Haytham thinks Birch "Saved" him from the invaders. Edward dies in the initial raid protecting his family in a sword fight. (He is retired at this point) Haytham later on in his life rescues his sister and kills birch when he finds out. But at that point he already believes the Templar ideals. Ironic he avenges his fathers death only to die by his sons hand.
In short the Kenways have shit luck.
