Is there more material in it than what was in the "complete and uncut" version that was put out in the 90s? I think it was around 95 when I read it, so I'll have to pick up a new copy and see what's up. Of course- I don't remember details from so long ago, so it will probably all seem new to me lol.

I believe the edition you mentioned and the one I am reading now are one in the same. So, you have already read this one. In the forward, SK mentions there is more he may in the future add to make another edition. I think at that point he would be over doing it.

I'm finally getting around to reading some Philip K. Dick. Starting with Man in the High Castle. I'm also listening to the audiobook of Brandon Sanderson's The Way of Kings. The third volume of his Stormlight Archive is scheduled to release in November. Finally! So instead of rereading the first two books, I decided to checkout the audiobooks.

You should check out the Overdrive app then. If you have a public library card, you can checkout ebooks, audiobooks and videos. I've listened to about a dozen or more now in the last few months and most audiobooks these days are upwards 25-30 bucks a pop.

I'm reading a book called Meddling Kids. Its an homage to Scooby Doo and the Famous 5 and is basically like "what happened when those crime busting kids grew up." Its also very Lovecrafty and very Stranger Things-esque. I'm listening to the audiobook of the final volume of The Wheel of Time. I've read thru the series a few times but never listened to the audiobooks. It's worth noting again the debt of gratitude owed to Brandon Sanderson for helping to write the final volumes after Jordan passed away. I'm also reading the third volume of Sanderson's Stormlight Archive. Damn book is just over 1400 pages long!

Iknoright?! I just finished reading IT again recently for the first time since high school. The first two volumes in The Stormlight Archive are really long as well, over 1100 and 1200 respectively, but Sanderson paces them so well that you hardly notice. I can't recall a single chapter so far that I've had to slog through, and this new one has been just as good so far.

IIRC King's Insomnia and It are both about 1200 pages and they were page turners. Ever since those books I generally look at huge books like that and shy away

I just read that GRRM's "Winds of Winter" is delayed AGAIN and won't be coming out this year.
